As you can read below, Fazioli is a piano maker of great passion and has developed a tradition of high quality, consistent, refined and lovely instruments. In keeping with the tall standard that has arrive to characterize Fazioli, Zenith Music and Snadens Pianos pride themselves on having professional, knowledgeable, passionate and sociable staff including technicians who have undertaken advanced training in order to take care of each and every Fazioli we sell. Passion for music and scientific knowledge, partisanship of the highest level, a firm commitment to technological research and stern selection of the best materials: these are the main elements needed for the production of a Fazioli piano. The complete production process, from the initial material selection to the finished product, takes approximately three years and 100 hours of highly specialized artisan work. Indeed, an ever increasing number of internationally renowned artists are choosing Fazioli pianos in concert halls, conservatories, competitions, and recording studios worldwide. The ongoing cooperation with prestigious university institutes on research and development projects is testament to the company’s successive commitment to the improvement of its products. The works for the expansion of the piano manufacturing facilities are on the way to be completed, in order to almost double the production area and reach the goal of 150170 pianos per year in the future. From there, he moved to Dresden, the capital of Saxony and became foreman in the Rosenkranz piano factory. The building of a larger factory was required by continuously growing demand for Rnisch pianos. Carl Rnisch was one of the first German manufacturers to export overseas. As portion of Australia’s musical history it is the centerpiece of the Keyboard Institute’s collection at the School of Music. At the turn of the century, Rnisch had become a leading brand known the world over. One year later in 1902, a cooperative agreement with Ludwig Hupfeld began. The export to Australia grew due to the huge demand for Rnisch and new agencies had to be established. World War I was a sorrowful time for the Rnisch Company and family. Two years later, in 1954, the total production reached the glossy of 720 pianos per year but the main product line was quiet furniture for schools, living rooms and bedrooms. It was not until 1960 that the company concentrated again on its core business of piano building and then reached an annual production of 200 pianos. Thus, the piano factory of Francis Howard was closed in 1954 and in 1955 Carnegie’s left the piano business. A second export drive reopened markets in Australia, Fresh Zealand and the USA. Peak Music followed with their beginning container shipment of Rnisch pianos in 2001. In 2011, the entire export sales of the company amounted to 62 again. The year 2015 marks a further milestone in the wealthy and prosperous history of Rnisch with celebrations for the 170th anniversary of its establishment in Dresden and its unusual presence of over 140 years in Australia. Carl Rnisch would be very proud of his successors who are maintaining the German tradition of piano making in the production of quality German made pianos in the twenty-first century.
